About Strike Industries Optimus Modular Buffer Weight - SI-AR-OPTIMUS-WB
Developed to suit the needs of a performance-based shooter, the Strike Industries Optimus Weight Buffer provides rapid modular customization that can be performed by the user. Changing out the buffer is one of the most direct upgrades to the AR platform, the Optimus WB comes with standard H1-H3 weight distribution, or it can be adjusted to the specific weight needs of the shooter. The Optimus WB will increase the reliability, accuracy, and performance of the AR shooting platform. Made from durable 7075 Aluminum the Outer Body houses all the weights secure and snug with the help of specialized rubber spacers that will help reduce inner impact of recoil. Keeping the different internal material cylinders in tip-top condition. Nice and easy-to-use modularity. The only criticism is that the case of the buffer seems a little light and feels somewhat fragile. Seems to hold up though.

I purchased this modular weight buffer to run my FRT-15 trigger. At H3 weight it had a complete failure in multiple locations(see pics). I would not recommend this product to anyone who runs a binary or bump fire setup DEFINITELY NOT FULL AUTO!!!!. Failure of the wall of the cylinder and threading on both the body and cap; Also the cap on the BCG face, you can see the impression… read more of the weight embedded into it; these are machined to thin and cannot stand up to heavy abuse. I purchased the Odin Works Heavy stainless steel buffer to handle the load. Going to the range on 22 Nov 2021 will report back.

This product has been great and has improved minimize my AR's recoil. Being able to interchange the weights of the buffer has made tuning easier and much cheaper. I would definitely buy one again for my next build.
