The Sidewinder 2 is the next evolution of our wildly successful Sidewinder back-up iron sights. After receiving feedback from competition shooters and military personnel in the field, the sights have been upgraded to easily handle not only 5.56 but larger calibers as well as harsher environments. Keeping our same design concept, the Sidewinders offer the on the go option for 45 degree offset or traditional in line capabilities – all in one package. Tool-less adjustment dials allow easy sight adjustments Whether you need a low profile, low snag inline backup for your red dot, or a short range, offset CQB sight backup for magnified optics, the Sidewinder can fill your needs. The low-profile SI-Ambush mounting system can clear even the largest of optics and the offset sight means instant access to your back up iron sights without removing your optic. These sights are awesome! Not only are they a secondary for when your holographic fails, they also can be folded into line of sight to help sight in your holographic in the first place. Definitely buying another set!!

They cost more than other iron sites but once you get them you realize why. The quality is definitely top-notch. Easy to adjust and they don’t drift. They also fit on the rails perfectly with no slop.

These sights hit my 5-Star rating by being set up as ambi sights with markings for left-sided use (as well as right). I got the red sights (on sale) and couldn't be happier. The only glitch was when trying to adjust the front sight, I thought the adjustment wheel was jammed. Strike's web site didn't reveal what the secret was so after playing with it a while, I found that if you… read more push down on the adjustment wheel it turns freely. Problem solved. The sale on AR15Discounts.com was so good I bought one more. It also co-witnesses (lower 1/3) as well, so offset or co-witness with one sight. I'd buy again...

Easy to install on my AR pistol. I got it because of its slim size and great price (over more expensive Magpuls). Lightweight and can cant to have a vertical view.

I've had these for quite a while now and loving the idea of backup sights that are not in the way of my main optic in the event of failure. The fact that they can be centralized gives me more options which is always a plus.
