Strike Industries magazine release makes an excellent addition to your AR15. The fit and finish is outstanding. I take my rifle out on salt water marshes and the this mag release has yet to rust. I highly recommend this product.

This is the best magazine release & magazine catch I’ve purchased to date & I’ve tried a couple different brands.The magazine release is one piece which I think is a way better design than the mil-spec one your probably use too & the magazine catch looks good & fits perfectly.

I have used strike industries extensively and I'm always happy with the end result. I like the aesthetic and the functionality. I had a hard time finding the FDE version in stock, so I just busted out the ole rattle can.

Another great addition to any AR build. I was tired of the mil spec mag release rusting, hard to press, and mags not inserting correctly. That all changed when I installed the SI mag release. So far so good. Have had maybe 4 failure to drops, where the magazine had an issue dropping because it was caught on the lip but I have since sorted it out. Strike Industries has always manufactured great products. I wish more of there stuff was matte black though

Very easy to install. I liked the closed end on the mag release button as it took the "it looks flush" guesswork out of installation. I am very much a "milspec" guy when it comes to parts like this, but the little added flare did have benefits: the beveled like design of the mag catch seemed to make for a more-positive and less "grabby" seating in its pocket, and feels like a… read more more positive hold on a steel bodied magazine. The mag release button was easier on the fingertips than milspec, and did seem to have a more positive tactility to it than regular milspec.

This works and looks fantastic. It works well with an AR-10. I don't like the regular release on an AR-10 because the bolt doesn't screw as far into the switch and it looks weird. This solves the problem.
