About Strike Industries Tribus Enhanced Castle Nut & Extended End Plate Version 2
Introducing the TRIBUS Enhanced Anti-Rotation Castle Nut & Extended End Plate. The TRIBUS is next iteration of the previous AR-ECN&EEP. New features include two addition QD mounting points added to the left & right side of the extended end plate. Totaling in 3 QD mounting points. The extended end plate’s QD mounts are pushed back away from the webbing of the primary hand, allowing for better weapon manipulations in tight spaced and under stress without the startling pain that can result from a pinched hand when using a sling attached to a standard, flat QD end plate. Another big improvement is the added anti-rotation castle nut feature. Once installed, use the set screw to prevent the castle nut from backing out during weapon usage. The TRIBUS is available in an anodized color line. Features: – Antirotation Castle Nut – 3 QD Mounting Points – Extended End Plate for prevention of pinching hand when using a sling attached Staking not required, castle nut will not back out once screw is threaded. Great so far, my only complaint is that you don’t have much room to put the buffer tube on with how many threads the castle nut takes up. Maybe it’ll work better with their buffer on.

I love these things, they are expensive but so pretty. And you get to lock it in with a set screw instead of staking the nut. If you’re a tinker-er give this a try,

Bought this for a pistol build and it won't fit the buffer tube. There isn't enough threads on the tube. Wasnt listed like that either. Overall the quality is good and I'd get another for a rifle build. I did end up using this on a rifle and it looks great

Looks nice, should work fine. Will see with time if it works as stated. Easy to install but like most Strike stuff doesn't include instructions. You will need a spanner wrench to tighten it correctly (OTC 4791) to install, or do it the incorrect way with a padded pair of pliers like I did.

This little thing is awesome. Wicked easy to install. Nice quality with great function and aesthetics. I will most likely get another one for an additional build. A little pricey when compared to a traditional castle setup but it is a top notch product. Very happy with it. Oh...and AR15D shipping is super fast and notifications were very prompt. Good job guys.
