I understand it’s a budget stock but it’s looseness on the buffer tube is totally unacceptable. I would imagine if someone claiming to be “mil-spec” it ought not be hard to mold or machine to the common/standard known dimension. Shipping was great got it quick but missing the plugs for the battery compartments and also missing an Allen head screw for the release on the stock to be able to adjust to different positions

It's a complete back end kit. Has everything you need to get your rifle. The only issues I noticed is that it sticks when extending the stock which could be me and its shiny. Nobody likes shiny but I fixed it.

The worst stock

This stock is worthless. I have a gen 1 cobra stock and love it. It has a really stiff spring and tight fit to the tube with a great rubberized cheek rest and long LOP compared to most stocks. I also have the alpha, which was basically the same stock without the cheek rest. This new stock is completely plastic and doesn't fit the tube at all and makes a loud click because it's just… read more sloppy. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY THIS GEN 2 STOCK!!! I only gave it a 1 star because zero wasn't an option.

Good quality, inexpensive

Overall the quality is pretty good on this kit. I would recommend this to anyone that needs to finish a build, or replace worn out parts. The only complaint I have is that the battery holders in the stock are for AA or AAA size batteries. They will not fit a 18650 battery. To me, it's not a big deal so I still gave it 5 stars.

All the pieces lined up and installed with out issue. the buttstock and buffer tube feel solid. I thought the buffer spring and buffer felt a bit flimsy, but functioned well during the test fire. I still may put a heavier spring and buffer in. Thats the only reason 4 stars.

Picked up 2 of these when they were on sale. Wanted to replace the loose fitting milspec stock on my Colt AR22 and figured the rest of the kit would be spares. (decided to grab another just in case) Not much to say about the the stock, but it does what it is supposed to do. Fits on the buffer tube nice and snug, no wobble. The adjustment trigger is flush, which is another detail I sought. The buffer spring has more tensile strength than the stock (PSA) spring that came with my build. I have now built two rifles using the Trinity Force Cobra stocks and buffer kits. There was a slight issue with one binding when extended, but only a very small amount of protruding plastic had to be removed from the inner and upper part of the stock where some of the original cast protruded. Wasn't sure about this butt stock kit, but the price was right. When it arrived, I did find the stock to be difficult to slide on the tube, but quickly found the problem was with a bit of overrun plastic from the top cheek piece. A few passes with some sand paper on a stick solved the problem. It all mount well and easily.

I built a rifle for deer hunting, and didn’t want to spend a ton of money on something that will most likely get banged up.
