I've mounted these on two new builds; one black and one gray so I can tell them apart. I find them to be substantially better than the the simple A2 grips, but the plastic cap on the bottom might tend to work loose. Not sure I would want to put anything of much value in there. I will try to find some way to make it stay in place better, but not overly hopeful. The price for the… read more product is excellent. I do not own any from Magpul, so can't compare them. I do recommend the grip for the price, but if one is intent on storing stuff in the grip, one might want to look at a different grip.

This is a good comfortable grip it feels more rubbery than a magpul but with out feeling sticky. One flaw is that plate for the storage compartment doesn’t positively lock in place and can be lost.

bottom c over fell off first time i used rifle in a practice/actual use scenario. gonna contact trinity force to see if they do anything about it. i cannot recommend this particular model grip based on my experience with it.
