Bought this as a cheap upgrade for a .300 build I did. Looks way better than standard with the matte finish and good design. Even though the bottom "lock" portion isn't larger, it is more prominent which makes a great difference. Only gripe is the part where the metal bends into the paddle portion COULD be a failure point and this it made in China so Hu knows how great the steel… read more is?

Installs like any other bolt catch, no worries there. Operates as advertised, with the obvious advantage of upgrade over MilSpec (seems more solid), plus the extended surface to work with on mag changes, bolt cycle. Raised surface grips easily but is not obtrusive enough to be a snag problem. Excellent upgrade, excellent price.
