Actually 4.5 stars. This is a good inexpensive buffer tube. Does not have the extended notch to capture 80% of the detent but it will safely get the job done. FDE color is pretty close to Magpul FDE. Shipping was fast. AR15DISCOUNTS team are good folks.

These buffer tubes are truly mil-spec. I’ve used several of these already for my builds, because I like to have a diversity of calibers in the AR platform. I haven’t had any problems with any of them. There’s no need to spend more $$$ for a quality buffer tube.

Blue or Red really pop, making you look like a pro 3-gun shooter, even if you’re not. Love the price. Combine with other blue parts for a theme build.

Picked this buffer tube up for an AR I’m putting together for my dad for his birthday. This will be his first. Thought I’d give it the blue themes accents. So this was the first piece I purchased. The anodize is very even and is a really sweet looking dark blue. The battlelink mission first tactical stock for nice and tight. Took it out a few times all ready and all worked great… read more ! I also picked up the blue ambi UTG safety selector which matches nicely up nicely. I also picked up the strike industries push pins and trigger guard which are a lighter shade blue and Radian mag release button, which is a darker shade blue. I wish the colors matched up better but I’m not complaining. All purchased from the AR15 Discounts crew.
