Precision machined to exacting tolerances with a host of upgrades over standard receivers, the GGP MKII Billet AR-15 receiver set is the ideal way to start your build. This is fine for a military rifle, but these tolerances can stack up, impacting parts compatibility, fit, and function, especially when using aftermarket components. By comparison, the MKII Billet AR-15 receiver set is machined to exceptionally tight +/- 0.001″ tolerances, allowing for incredible consistency. To further increase accuracy this lower features a nylon tipped tension screw, ensuring your upper and lower fit together without rattle. For enhanced convenience, the bolt catch and takedown pin are threaded for fast and easy installation. Even better, the lower is machined for an ambidextrous bolt catch release.
