Shortest folding AR15 receiver both folded and unfolded. At least 1.5” shorter than using the folding adapters that thread into the back of the receiver. Magpul BAD lever will not work with 17 D&M receivers due to conflict with the screw housing for the bolt catch.

I built a pistol on the 17D&M integrated folding lower receiver using SBA4 pistol brace, Larue Tactical MBT-2S trigger, Magpul Moe K2 grip, Patriot Ordinance 45 degree ambidextrous selector, and a CMMG lower parts kit minus grip and fire control. I tried to install a Magpul BAD lever on the bolt release but it conflicted with the receiver so don’t bother trying. I’ve bought two of these. One I’ve had no issues with. One I had to send back because the hole for mounting the rear grip was machined to big. Sent it back, instead of sending a new lower receiver, they retapped the hole and sent a bigger bolt. Frustrated I put it together. I had to drill a hole in the grip bigger which I didn’t want to do. Besides the fact I could have drilled… read more and tapped the hole myself. I was definitely excited about having a built in folder, but I won’t be buying another one. Decide for your self.

Have not assembled yet, but the build quality and folding mechanism seem to be of high quality. AR15discounts service is on point as always. Glad I chose this over a folding adapter.
