The lower was returned from FFL. I understand Geissele has a policy for DDC color but my lower came with a kind green paint even when inside the buffer tube threads the color was the “real” DDC. Probably a blemished piece sold as “normal”.

First of all this site did a fantastic job getting me my lower quickly but I’m disappointed in Geissele’s finish on the receiver. Not the quality I expected for the price but no fault of the website.

Very nice lower receiver with tight tolerances. Fit was so precise I had to try a couple different takedown and pivot pins to find a set that worked, and fits tight to the Geissele upper. I was disappointed to see several small dings in the finish on arrival, but not willing to send it back as I didn’t trust the next one to be free of imperfections either. I don’t really care… read more as it is going to be scratched with use anyway, but annoying to see on such an expensive product - should have been marked down as a blem. Save money and go with another brand unless matching a Geissele upper is critical to you. Lightening fast shipping from AR15discounts, no complaints there.

Great lowers, hard to fine. I was on email list for like 1 year so. That blows but here we our, makin mild Gucci builds. The ATF should be dissolved.
