About Hiperfire Hiperswitch Ambidextrous Safety Selector Set
The HIPERSWITCH™ (High Performance Switch) is an ambidextrous safety for your AR15 or AR-10 that is 100% compatible with HIPERFIRE® triggers. It features a 60 degree swing between SAFE and FIRE (much safer than 45 degree versions that can be rotated into FIRE by the trigger when on SAFE). The HIPERSWITCH levers are uniquely designed for tactile access making the selection action in either direction feel shorter than 60 degrees. The two full length levers are molded from an engineered polymer composite for strength and available in solid RED or BLACK color. The short throw selector’s shaft is machined from 8620 alloy steel rod and case hardened for a precision feel and durability. The packaged product is easily assembled and installed by the user. Additional parts include lever set screws (2) , safety detent (1), safety detent spring (1), and a set screw Allen key.

I installed a hipperfire pdi trigger and the safety wasn't safe at all. I looked to the great people at ar15 discount and they had the hipperfire safety selector, fixed my problem. Thank you for your help.

I really liked this selector. Worked very good with my Hiperfire trigger. Easy to install. Just make sure tabs are facing correctly on selector shaft because ends are angle cut. If you purchase a certain model of Hiperfire trigger, I recommend this item to save yourself some installation problems with other brand that will not work well with this type of trigger. Gave them a (4)… read more because of color selection and selector tab design. (I personally like my selectors to stand prouder on receiver and would to have had grey or FDE as a color option.) They work just fine and have a good price at AR15Discount.

Easy to install, big and bright. A little stiff action but I think that’s good in a safety mechanism.

Sooooo..., Hiperfire trigger systems seem to have a lil issue with 'standard' safety selectors; which was readily noticeable at assembly. Dis-assembled, re-assembled with the Hyper-switch all is well. 60 deg. throw is a nice touch. If you are going to use a Hiperfire - get the safety too - save yourself some trouble.
