NBS AR-15 Safety Selector

The NBS AR-15 Safety Selector fits my AR-15 with Magpul grips. Other AR-15 Safety Selector switches were too long and hung up on the Magpul grips.

NBS ar15 safety selector.

Out of all the safety selectors I have tried, I like this one the best. Provides a positive click in either position, and also has a raised notch on the backside to indicate the position the lever is in. Nice lever, couldn't be happier.

Nice budget friendly selector

Milled nicely, no burs or hard ridges that might endanger polymer lowers while installing. Tolerances are loose so it should fit most if not all mil spec lowers.

A safe bet- but maybe not with “compliant” grips.

It’s a fine and functional safety that maybe isn’t winning any AR pageants any time soon- but does the job in a no frills way. The part was as pictured and well made. It works fine for me with a “pistol grip” but with a “compliant style” grip- I tested using a Sparrow Dynamics- even my big hands cant work it one handed without giving up my reach to the trigger. Not really… read more a “con” since this isn’t an ambi-safety or an extended safety- but if you are using compliant grips and want “one hand” safety throws without moving grip- consider an alternative.

I really like this item. It has great grip either with or without gloves. That can be a down fall if you are constantly engaging and disengaging the safety.

I have found that I have no need for ambi safety selectors so these work fine for me. Functional but that�s about it

Really was just looking for a nice clean GI selector. This wasn�t it. Casting marks clearly visible and doesn�t snap soundly vertical for semi or horizontal for safe. The one that came with my Aero lower build kit is better, but still not as clean as the hundreds I used when I served.
