Very well made piece of precision engineering!

I have only built my ar15 and it appears to function as designed. I have not shot it yet...and can be mounted in reverse no problem, however it does not match the photo. The photo in the product description is outdated or incorrect and a new photo needs to be uploaded. Still very happy.

No doubt the Cheapest priced ambi but you can tell. Not a smooth operation at all fits loose, has a spot it hangs up when going on and off safe. overall quality you get what you paid for. Spend more and you'll not waste money like I did

Does the job, but needs some break-in to be "decent".

The selector arrived a few days ago and I just installed it. From just eyeballing it, it looks really decent. After installing it, it was ROUGH. It was just not very "clicky" like my old Nitride selector was. I took it out to the garage and used a dremel to polish the contact points the selector detent pushes against. That helped quite a bit, but honestly, it's still… read more not as good as my old selector. I've been manually flipping it back and forth for the past hour, and it's starting to break in nicely. It's now "decent", and I'm sure with a couple thousand more cycles will be good. It's a budget part, so I guess I got my money's worth. Personally, I'd spend a few bucks more and buy a better machined one if I could do it all over again, but this one is fine. If you're on a budget, this is a decent choice if you're willing to put a few minutes into fitting it. If you want something that's drop-in ready and awesome, look elsewhere. On the plus side, the actual lever seems great, very solid.

Did not work with Aero M4E1 lower

This is a case so if you get what you pay for. Would not work with the Aero M4E1 lower. Would jam with detent and not come out of fire or Saftey position. Switched to the basic selector that came with the lower kit and everything worked fine. Either save your money or pay for a better ambidextrous selector.

This ambi safety works great. Pretty good quality for as cheap as it is. The only thing I had an issue with is the size of the left side of the safety, it could be a little bit smaller so it wouldn’t got my index finger when I go to flick it to fire.

Works great, stayed in during range trip without threadlocker

I was able to use this very easily at the range today. I used both sides (I'm true ambi, but right eye sucks). Works as expected. Didn't get loose after a full range trip. Worth it.

This ambidextrous safety is good practical but little crude. Does the job for the price. Used for California compliant build for non pistol grip for access to safety on the same side

It does exactly what its suppose to do.

Easy installation. I like that it mimics the Mil-Spec selector. Switching between Safe and Fire is a bit stiff but that should soften with use/wear.

The detention holes are very rough and deep. I had to drill the detects out to the proper size. Once this is done, they work very smooth.

Decent option

I got 2 of these for a couple of builds that I’ve made. Functions well and installs snug to the receiver. This is a 2-piece unit though, both levers are screwed to the central piece.

Not bad for the price.

These won't work for me out of the box. The detent holes are to deep and sharp. The detent will not retreat from the hole and allow my to select safe/fire. I will need to busy out the dremel and mill the roughness down to make them work. I ordered 2 of them and both have the same trouble.

FYI does not fit S&W 15-22 but aluminum receivers were fine.

I bought three of these. As stated above I would be careful ordering these for non metal receivers. In my case, the 15-22's receiver is wider than the ambi safety. This was true for all three safety levers. The two that I put on aluminum receivers worked exactly as you would expect. I have bigger hands so when the safety was off one of the tabs would get in the way of my trigger… read more finger. this situation doesn't seem to apply to those with smaller hands. I solved the tab issue by rotating it 180 degrees.

I bought this to replace a regular safety switch that would not perfectly face “safe” position at a 90 degree.. turns out it is a flaw with the lower receiver.. I kept this ambi switch in anyway.. and for the cheap money compared to others it’s well worth it.

Could have been better.

The shaft of the safety was just over spec, requiring some work on the lower to make it fit. I am pretty sure it was the safety as it didn't fit in eithe of two lowers and a mil spec safety fit in just fine. Also, when on fire, the lever of the safety is low enough to interfere with my trigger finger. Ended up replacing it with a cross-bolt safety.
