Be sure the detent spring is correctly aligned in the pistol grip hole when tightening the grip screw. – Using the wrench that ODIN Works includes in the kit, install the safety paddles in the configuration you prefer and tighten down the screws. – *BE SURE to check for safe function before firing any live rounds. It was a little tricky to get the position combination correct, but with SO many setup options it also provides more possibilities than any other ambi safety on the market! Easy to install , I like how u can pick different degrees and throws to fit your personal needs and ergonomics . And for someone who as to shoot rifles left handed cus of being left eye dominant game changer. being able to manipulate the safety from both sides is nice

I like that I can turn the levers in different directions. I have them set to set to fire with my thumb on one side and put on safe with my index finger on the other side while not being in the way while in fire mode. I also like the option of a 45 degree throw. I like the first one so we’ll that I came back for several more.

So in the traditional AR safety configuration, 90 degree, bigger paddle to the rear (how it's set up right out of the package), I love it! Quick, precise and the detent is positive in both positions, and the ambi feature is awesome. = typical Odin Works. The 45 degree throw option, on the other hand, allows the trigger to be pulled and weapon to be fired. This is regardless of which… read more of the 2 positions the safety is in. The detent is still crisp and positive and the safety is installed correctly but when I pull the trigger the hammer goes forward with every pull. This is straight up unacceptable - period!! A functions check reveals this issue but there are some novice AR builders that may not perform one, I pray for them. I have been building ARs for over 20 years. Caveat: I am using a drop in precision trigger in this AR and this is what I want to blame it on but I don't know for sure. There is no mention in the description or packaging of any issues with cassette style drop in triggers, which I would imagine are as popular with AR owners as any stock battle trigger. I do like this safety in the traditional config so I gave it 2 stars but I purchased this trigger for the 45 degree feature. Come on Odin Works.

when you are a left eye'd / left handed shooter, its nice to find an ambi selector that has plenty of configuration options - these are especially good when you are dealing with a CA Compliant build.

Installs just as easily as easily as any other safety. The 4 different throw lever positions you can set on each side are a game changer as is the shape. Much more ergonomic and the 4 different positions ensures that all shooters can achieve the proper set up regardless of their style and grip. Highly recommend.

It’s my first AR but the lower I got came with the regular safety and after adding the fin grip being in CA, it was hard to reach. I started looking and wanted the FDE to make the rifle look but different and found this one. The install was pretty straight forward and I had to play around with the 45 vs 90 a bit but found the 45 to be more natural. I liked the item, but it didn't function properly in the "short-throw" configuration. Functioned fine in the 90 degree position. I don't know if it was a problem with the safety itself, or if it just wasn't compatible with my aftermarket PSA Match Grade Trigger.

I love this safety!! I was smart and bought two right off of the bat just based on the design and modularity. I go from safe to fire with shooting index mostly but also use my thumb given the circumstance. Being able to offset both sides to my comfortable throw position is great. Highly recommended.

Really nice. Love the 45* throw. Great for my AR pistol with that annoying break top and that giant juggernaut pin in the way of regular safety switches. This one confirms to the thumb and is faster to manipulate.

This safety is extremely versatile as it can be configured in multiple orientations and has options for 45° and 90° throws. It's very comfortable to use and makes tic tock drills much faster.

I finally bought an ambi safety for my AR. Being a left handed shooter, using the stock safety on my new AR was a pain and inconvenience. With many brands to choose from I decided on the Odin Works Ambi and Im glad I did. It was easy to install, works great and looks pretty bad-ass. The different flip configurations is a good bonus to this safety

A nice thank you from Henry signed on receipt. Got an Odin Works Ambidextrous Modular Safety, works great, lots of different options for either side. Be VERY careful with locktite if you use it. As of this review used numerous times during 3-4 hours, 500 rds.
