It works well and the ability to swap from 90 to 45 degree means you get the chance to try out both. I found from this selector that I prefer the 45 degree safety. Buy one of these and you'll save money on buying two that do an inferior job

Install was a breeze. No issues with fitment on Aero M4E1 lower. Smooth movement from positions with solid and notable indexing. Expensive for what it is but worth it.

I have, and have tried many ambi safeties, from Geissele to Blackhawk. The Radian Talon is the best. It feels the best. It can be mounted to your taste. It works very well.

Great design.

These installed easily and will never have issues with screws backing out. The selector has a tactile click when getting into either position. Highly recommend.

It’s squishy, but A+ company

I ordered and received the safety in no time flat (AR15Discounts ships SO fast), installed it with ease, and flipped it. The safety did not have very positive engagement, and the closest thing I could compare it to is like… The power button on your TV remote, vs my milspec ones that were closer to a button on a blender, ya know? At this point, I’d have rated it two stars, and… read more moved on. I voiced my concern to Radian (quite literally yesterday) and they were GREAT. I dealt with a gentleman named Chris who was cheerful, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He is sending out a new shaft (he sent me tracking info about 3 minutes after I provided my addy), and I couldn’t be more excited. I will be buying more of these, even if they’re all squishy, just because of how well Chris handled my issue. That being said, my complaint on the safety does not seem normal, so hopefully I get a “CLICK” and not an “ick”

Neat product. First time I used anything other than the mil spec ones. Well thought out and made. The groove at the indicator tip fills easily with paint stick to make it stand out. Happy with 2 of these I purchased.

Looks good but a little loose

Not too too hard to install once you figure out what you are supposed to do, and works well as an ambi safety. I don’t know if it is my particular lower or what though but it is a bit looser than I would have expected compared to my other safeties. It has like a 1mm or so play where you can push it back and forth from protruding out of one side or the other. Not really a huge… read more deal, and maybe it is intentional for all I know

It’s very nice but has a little play each way on my bcm lower. About 1/16 inch each way.

Wow neat!

It drops right in, and uses springs and detents (like the rest of your AR) to hold the slide-on levers in place, instead of screws that you would have to thread lock in place. Feels great to the touch and the 45 degree throw is super positive and not vague at all.

Radian 45°/90° safety

I've recently moved over to 45° safeties as I live in California and they allow better operating while in featureless configuration. I chose radian for their reputation, and I can say it stands. Great color match on FDE as well.
