This part is a close clone of the O.E.M Colt safety. If you like the long lobe (.920 of an inch) of the Colt you will like the feel of this part. Quality machining and finish all around.
Quality construction but weak detent positions

I like the way it looks, I like knowing that it was constructed well, but for something with "Beefy" in the title I expected a stronger detent. The Anderson Arms selector that was in beforehand was much worse quality, but it gladly snapped into position whereas this selector feels mushy and indecisive. Cleaned and lubricated the part before install. I'm still glad I got it for the… read more quality of construction, I make my complaint as a caution to anyone expecting improved function with this part, I doubt you will find it.
