Compact, lightweight, and rugged, the Reflex Exoskeleton provides extreme protection for a wide variety of reflex optics. The patent pending Universal Mounting Pattern enables users to attach various optics of their choice. Included mounting posts securely hold your optic firmly in place. The shield is precision cut and made from steel with a QPQ black finish while the universal mount is hard anodized black. Included with the Exoskeleton, is a lightweight, low profile Picatinny mount that can be used stand alone to save weight. Combined, they offer the highest degree of protection from impacts and shock. At just over 2.5 oz total, the Strike REX is a low-profile, minimalist, must-have accessory for your reflex optics. I bought this to add some protection to my red dot on my duty shotgun. But, as I was tightening the cross screw, it broke at 12 inch pounds. I emailed SI, and never received a reply. As of now, the replacement screw is out of stock, so I just have a useless piece of aluminum. Being as most cross bolts are around 30 inch pounds, I can not understand why they went with such a… read more small screw that couldn’t be tightened to 15 inch pounds. If they change the design to a larger, more robust screw, they’ll have a pretty awesome design.

I really like the added security this exoskeleton provides. It is well built and designed to accommodate a wide variety of the common red dots. Looks great paired up with my Vortex Venom!

Look good but unfortunately broke when trying to mount. Very upset feels sturdy but cracked with just the turn of the wrist

Great once installed, directions were a little scarce but otherwise it should protect venom good! Easy to get to controls, overall great!
