Designed by Bill Wilson and the Wilson Combat design team to be the base for the ultimate precision tactical AR-15 rifle, the BILLet-AR lower receiver is 100% machined in our Berryville, AR facility. The Wilson Combat BILLet-AR receiver was engineered from the ground up to address structural design weaknesses in standard USGI lower receivers and enhance overall tolerances. The BILLet-AR lower receiver has been enhanced with an oversize magazine well for quick reloads and an integral trigger guard for gloved use and added lower receiver strength. My first review didn’t get posted so maybe this one will, no trashing Wilson just an honest report on a $200 striped lower. I’m a huge Wilson fan so the billet lower was a nice addition to the collection. Upon receiving it at my ffl I noticed the anodizing wasn’t exactly 100% “INSIDE” the lower around the buffer detent hole, trigger well and take down pins, doesn’t… read more impede function. The gouge in the magazine well was a let down but again she’s feeding holding parts like a good lower should. For Arkansas finest “hand finished” ole Uncle bill let them slip this through the QC. If it wasn’t a pain to return and get a new one I would had refused at the FFL. On ar15 discounts side as always they’re champions at customer service and has always been good to me.

I’ve already submitted one review on this but incase it doesn’t go throw I’ll leave this one too. What I received was unfinished inside the trigger well, buffer retainer UN anodized, chip marks in finished threads and gouges inside the magwell. For everyone “guns a tool” guys I want to make my own love marks not receive a $200(with transfer fee) lower that slipped through… read more quality control, the bolt catch isn’t milled to spec and it’s off center, overall I should have not accepted it and returned it at the FFL, EDDY at ar15 discounts awesome that’s the only plus side to my order was their customer service. I have the forged Wilson lower and it’s 90% better than this billet Wilson lower at less than 1/2 the price! No option to leave pictures of it in this review my first one had pictures

I’m a Wilson fan, 1911’s, forged lowers, complete rifles I love them. I ordered this billet Wilson on the coattails of their reputation of perfection… when I received was unsat. UN anodized parts on the inside of the lower, trigger well blotchy, magwell gouges, threads borderline specs…. What happen to “ hand finished”? If it wouldn’t take weeks to return it and get… read more my money back I would, I wouldn’t even take a replacement. I kept it, installed parts kit everything fit “okay” except the bolt catch for some reason they are alsways out of spec on Wilson forged so I thought “Arkansas finest” would be spot on for $200 with transfer fee…. Outside it’s pretty much perfect but inside they are lacking in quality control! Eddy at ar15 discounts is an amazing dude and he’s the only reason I’d ever order lowers again! Thanks eddy sorry I had to leave this review but this should have never left cali brother
